Erasmus informativni sestanek na FERI
Vabimo vas na predstavitev Erasmus študija v tujini za študente v študijskem letu 2010/2011, ki bo v sredo, 20.1.2010, ob 13:30 v predavalnici P01 (FERI-G2). Informativnega dne se bodo udeležili tudi predstavniki Univerze v Mariboru in študenti FERI, ki so že bili Erasmus študenti.

Predstavitev ERASMUS študija in prakse v tujini za študente
Vabimo vas na predstavitev ERASMUS študija in ERASMUS prakse za študente v tujini v študijskem letu 2009/10. Predstavitev bo v petek, 6.11.2009, ob 10. uri v predavalnici G2-P06. Vljudno vabimo vse študente FERI, ki bi se želeli udeležiti študija v tujini v letnem semestru 2009/10 ali bi želeli opravljati prakso v tujini v študijskem letu 2009/10 (do 30. septembra 2010).

The Internet Group at Telefonica Research in Barcelona is offering internships to qualified candidates wishing to gain research experience in the area of online social networksâ?T system scalability.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be enrolled in a M.Sc. or Ph.D. program in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Experience in systems, database replication and cloud computing is desirable. Strong development skills are required.
Duration:
The internships are available immediately and last for 3-6 months.

Mednarodna poletna šola Bovec
Univerza v Mariboru podeljuje 8 štipendij za svoje študente za mednarodno poletno šolo Bovec, ki bo potekala od 16. do 30. avgusta 2009. Tema letošnje šole je: Povojno sožitje – dogodki in spomin.
Štipendija pokriva stroške jezikovnih tečajev, ki so organizirani na začetni in nadaljevalni ravni v okviru naslednjih jezikov: slovenščine, furlanščine, hrvaščine, italijanščine in nemščine.
Obenem štipendija krije stroške popoldanskih delavnic, ki se tematsko nanašajo na vodilno temo šole ter stroške celodnevne strokovne ekskurzije.
Potne stroške ter stroške namestitve in prehrane v Bovcu (na poljubno izbrani lokaciji) si morajo študentje kriti sami.

Summer Course 2009 - Galician Language and Culture for Foreigners - Universidade de Vigo

Basic level: 20 places
Intermediate level: 15 places
The Linguistic Normalization Area of the University of Vigo launches for the second year the summer courses of Galician language and culture for foreigners. In this edition with two new offers: an intermediate course and courses being taught in Vigo (coastal Galicia) and Allariz (inner Galicia), so students may have a more complete knowledge of our social, natural and cultural reality.
Course price: 90 €
25 scholarships of 450 € each will be given to those students with the best academic records.
The trips and the transfer Vigo-Allariz will be provided by the organization.
Place of the two courses
From the 3rd to the 15th July: Faculty of Philology and Translation (Campus of Vigo).
From the 16th to the 27th July: Instituto de Allariz (rúa de Pardo Bazán s/n, Allariz).

Portugal 2009 ISCSP Summer School "The World in English"
The School of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP), belonging to the Technical University of Lisbon (UTL), proudly presents the 1st edition of its Summer School.
The theme of the Summer School will be “The World in English. A View from the Southwest Corner of Europe” and it will be held between the 27th and the 31st of July 2009, with a total of 20 academic hours, with 4 daily hours of classes and 6 hours of cultural visits.
The participants are asked to pay the amount of 350 EUROS or 300 EUROS (if they are from an Erasmus partner institution). This is a stimulating price comparing with the majority of international institutions. This new project aims to enroll foreign and national students, interested about the Portuguese role in the world. In this way, it is supposed to conciliate both academic, social and cultural components.
The social and cultural component will have a huge importance in this course, giving the students assistance after the academic schedule, namely in the cultural activities. The visits to monuments and other places of historical interest will be, of course, an important aspect, as well as trips to the beaches and others places related with this season of the year.

BAYHOST's summer academy "German as a Foreign Language" from 19th to 31st July 2009 at the University of Regensburg will focus on intercultural Germany. Reputed experts will present the participants in lectures, seminars and/or workshops with a differentiated impression of the multi-faceted culture of contemporary Germany as well as providing new didactic stimuli.
